BARBARA EDEN – 93 YEARS OLD – RETIRED IN 2022
In the mid-1960s, television audiences were enchanted by a whimsical genie who could blink her way into and out of any situation. The talented Barbara Eden brought this character, Jeannie, to life. She began her career by appearing on shows like “I Love Lucy” and “Perry Mason.”
However, it was her starring role in “I Dream of Jeannie” that catapulted her to stardom. Barbara has displayed her versatility in over 25 feature films and 19 made-for-television movies. She authored her memoir, “Jeannie Out of the Bottle,” which debuted at number 14 on The New York Times Best Seller list in 2011. The actress-singer retired in 2022.
